Stanley Sternitzky Obituary
Stanley was born on May 3, 1936 to Clarence and Selma Sternitzky in the Town of Lynn, Clark County, Wisconsin. He married Karaleen Young on June 21, 1958 in Prairie Farm.
Stan farmed until November of 1996 and then moved to Rice Lake. In April of 2000, he and Karaleen moved to Cameron where they currently reside.
Stan enjoyed flying, fishing and making maple syrup.
He is survived by his wife, Karaleen; daughter; Candace Sternitzky, both of Cameron, Cheryl (Doug) Foth of Green Bay and Janalee (Harold) Kracht of Ireton, IA; son-in-law, Richard Blanchard of Marshfield; grandchildren, Amanda Anderson, Nicholas Huisman, Thomas (Jody) Huisman, Kurtis (Jennifer) Huisman, Brendon (McKenna) Foth, Byron Foth, Jill (Jordan) Stipp, Jamie (Eric) Schuller, Justin (Claudia) Kracht, Megan (Patrick) Wasserman and Matt (Andrea) Blanchard; 22 great-grandchildren; in-laws, Elmer (Marilyn) Magsam, Erlyn (Connie) Young, Vernon (Annette) Young, Harriet Taplin, Bill (Linda) Young, Andy (Aleta) Young, Diane (Roger) Hansen, Becky (Kennan) Adams and Roxane (Doug) Henderson; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sarah Blanchard; sisters, Lila Schmitz and Velda Galloway; brother, Marvin Sternitzky; sister-in-law, Jane Magsam and brother-in-law, Irvin Taplin.
A funeral service for Stan will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Prairie Farm High School. A visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of service at the high school. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in the Town of Stanley.
Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron. Online condolences can be made at www.rauschandsteelfuneralhome.com.
