SIX MILE, SC: Robert Nick Stevens passed away September 19th, 2025, at 68 years of age. Robert was a resident at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Six Mile, SC for several years.
Prior to living in South Carolina, he was a resident of Cleveland County, NC for 30 plus years. Robert was preceded in death by his father Miller Stevens. Nick is survived by his Mother Rose Prior of Wisconsin, brothers, Frank of Georgia, Jim of South Carolina, John, and wife, Brenda of North Carolina. One sister, Dorothy of Nevada, and four half brothers, and sisters, Dino, Donnie, Kathy, and Diane. Cousins, Nicholas, and Kathy from California, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Nick’s residency at Pruitt Health was such a blessing not just for him but for the whole family. Susan, Judy, Scott, as well as many others who helped take care of Nick were such wonderful people. They didn't just do their job; they put their heart and soul into it. The name of the road where Pruitt Health is located is called Love and Care Road, and that’s exactly what residents got there, love and care. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to each and every one of them.
The family will have a graveside service on Thursday, September 25th, 2025 at 2:00PM at Cleveland Memorial Park.
Funeral services are entrusted to Clay-Barnette Funerals, Cremations, and Aquamation Center, 1401 West Dixon Blvd Shelby, NC 28152.
