Robert E. Stevenson

Robert was born on December 25, 1928 and passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Robert was a resident of South Lyon, Michigan at the time of passing. He graduated from Whittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and left home at the age of 16 to play with the big bands in Chicago, including Jimmy Dorsey. He then joined the navy and taught at the Naval School of Music in Washington, DC. A memorial service will be held at a later date and his ashes will be buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Robert's name to the charity of your choice.
