Robert "Bobb" Swihart, 68, of Russells Point, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Delaware, Ohio on August 9, 1956, to the late Jerry and Shirley (Newman) Swihart.
On May 12, 2025, he married Taylor (Britenstine) Stone, and she survives.
He is also survived by his children: Natalie Spears, Nicole (Jason) Gheen, Carlee (Dave) Swihart, and Tom (Allison) Wygal; grandchildren: Emily, Aaliyah, Dylan, Devin, Isabelle, Ellery, and Cale, great grandchildren: Enzo and Finn; brothers: Roger Swihart, Rick Swihart, Randy Swihart and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was passionate about fishing and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. A graduate of North Union High School, he spent his recent years as “The Pizza Man” of Russells Point. Earlier in life, he worked as a truck driver, traveling to 49 of the 50 states.
There will be a celebration of life held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Richwood Lake, North Shelter House, 200 Grove Street, Richwood, Ohio 43344. The family is requesting all attending to wear tie dye and bring your fishing poles.
