Robert Tatavossian, 76, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away at home on May 16th, 2025.

Born on July 26th, 1948, in Tehran, Robert studied Microbiology at the American College in Switzerland, Reading University, England and Florida Atlantic University in the USA. He was a proud American citizen, serving with the communicable diseases department in the state medical service until his retirement.

Robert was the last surviving of the four children of Vincent George Tatavossian and Hamest Khachatourian and had only been shortly predeceased by his eldest sister 'Maro'. Sadly, older brother Adolph and sister Violette had passed some years earlier.

Though he had no children of his own, 'Uncle' Robert will be fondly remembered as a happy and humorous, kind and generous uncle and friend by his nephew Richard and niece Vanessa, with whom he lived with for a time in 1978. Family diaspora meant time and borders separated him from better contact with nephews Armen and Karen, nieces Ruth and Elsa and great niece Abbie.

Robert will be forever remembered as a humorous, colorful, caring and generous character by friends and family.

A Funeral Service in memory of Robert will be held on Monday 8th September at 3p.m.

Professional arrangements are entrusted to:
