Robert Lee Thomas was born on March 12, 1954, to the late Albertha Jones and a father affectionately known as Club 14 Shorty. He was later adopted and lovingly raised by Ms. Ida Mae Thomas in the Bronx, New York, where he received his education and spent his formative years.
Ms. Thomas and Robert eventually relocated to Indiantown, Florida, where he continued to grow and connect with those around him. Robert was well known and deeply cherished by his community. He had a vibrant personality, enjoyed socializing, and was especially known for his infectious laughter and sense of humor.
On May 3, 2025, at 4:43 p.m., Robert's earthly journey came to a peaceful close as the Lord called him home.
He leaves to mourn his passing: two devoted sisters, Shirley Williams-Parsons and Lucille Way of Miami; cousins Dona King, Pandora Parks, and Freeman Parks, all of Indiantown; God-sister Pastor Barbara Felton (Herman) of Indiantown; and his dedicated guardian and friend, Rod Peterson (Sandra) of Stuart, Florida. Robert also leaves behind a host of loving family members and cherished friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Final Arrangements have been Entrusted to the care of Thorne's Mortuary Inc. Stuart, FL.
