Robert G. Thomas

Robert "Bob" G. Thomas, 76, of Indianapolis, peacefully went to be with our Lord in Heaven, Friday, May 14, 2021. Bob was born on February 12, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, son of the late Harley and Audrey (Odom) Thomas. He married Barbara Jean Holben in Gibson City, IL on May 5, 1979. He was known as a hard-working man, beginning at a very early age. He had a love for cars and coins and was a jack of all trades when it came to working with his hands. Bob was employed at the SpaceKraft division of International Paper as an injection mold machine operator. He owned his own business for many years prior to locating in Indianapolis. He and his wife are active members of Grace Assembly of God church in New Whiteland where Bob served as an usher for several years. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his big heart and his love for his family, and for the Lord. Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years; Barbi, children: Scott (Marsha) Moody and their children: Kayla Auer, Megan Moody and Maxwell Moody; and furry companion, Jester; Travis (Angel) Thomas and their children: Finn and Avery Thomas; and Troy Thomas (deceased) and his son: Christian (Ashley) Thomas and their daughter, Ava Grace Thomas; grandson, Jacob Williss; sister: Barbara Pendergraft and her children: Kimberly and Jeff; good friend and brother-in-law, Doug Holben. Family and friends will gather Friday, May 21, 2021, for visitation from 4-7 pm at Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral and Cremation Services, 7602 Madison Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227.
