Robert Bruce Thompson, 61 of Lynchburg, VA passed away June 1, 2024. He was born July 23, 1962, in Baltimore, MD to Donald Thompson and Shirley Tumblin Thompson (Shifflett).
Preceding him in death were his father Donald Thompson, his dad Carl Shifflett, his sister Betty Almanza, and brothers Douglas Thompson and Richard Thompson.
Left to cherish his memory are his 2 daughters, Elizabeth Ann Dreelin (Colin) of Staunton, VA, and their 3 sons Stone, Axel, and Steele. And Nikkole Friel (Corey) of Faulks Run, VA, and their 2 children Ireland and Decklynn.
Also surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley Shifflett, his sister Vicki Knicely, and brothers Donald Thompson and Steve Shifflett (Mindy) along with special friends Karen Shaw and Glenn Talbot in addition to numerous nieces and nephews and other close friends.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
