Robert Mitchell Timbs, 76, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2025. He was born November 6, 1948 in Hot Springs to Thomas and Leona Timbs. Robert was an Army Veteran; serving in Vietnam, and receiving many medals for bravery. Robert married the love of his life, Annette Fagan Timbs, on July 17, 1977. He worked for Chamber Door as a heavy equipment operator and later he worked for the City of Hot Springs.
Robert loved the Lord and was a member of Lakeshore Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading his Bible and sharing the "good news" with others. He always started his day with prayer. Robert also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting.
He is predeceased by his parents; son, Stephen Alan Timbs; brothers, John Timbs, Arthur Timbs, and Gene Timbs; sisters, Barbara Shirley, and Laura Jane Bishop.
Loving survivors include his wife of 47 years, Annette Timbs; daughter, Windy Thompson, grandchildren, Caleb Timbs, Dakota Huggins, Haley (Vince) Marteney, Brandon Wootten, Connor Thompson, Colton Thompson; two great-grandsons, Robert Huggins, and Jackson Huggins; sisters-in-law, Brenda Harris and Paulene Fagan; brothers-in-law, Thomas Fagan, and Stephen Fagan; many nieces, nephews, a host of friends, and his fur baby, Roscoe.
Visitation will be 5:00 -8:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center, 2529 Airport Rd, Hot Springs. A celebration of Robert's life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center. Pastor Andrew Gonzalez and Pastor Verne Wickliffe will officiate. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jason Timbs, Travis Weeks, Chuck Timbs, Brian Harris, Tony Bishop, Tommy Masters, and Caleb Timbs.
Honorary pallbearers are Ervan and Jane Slaight, Melissa Dial, the staff of Blossoms Nursing Home, sisters-in-law, Brenda Harris and Paulene Fagan, brothers-in-law Thomas Fagan and Stephan Fagan.
