Robert "Bob" Tracy

Robert (Bob) Tracy, 73, of Sunbury, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Kobacker House following an extended illness.

He was born on July 11, 1952, to Clarence and Lucille (Somers) Tracy. On February 19, 1977, Bob married Terri (Woods) Tracy at Zion Lutheran Church, and together they shared 48 years of love and devotion.

Bob is survived by his wife, Terri; daughters, Erin Grundy and Elicia Dumolt; sons-in-law, Mark Grundy and Doug Dumolt; grandchildren, Kyle and Wyatt Grundy, Ian Dumolt, and Anna Dumolt; brother- and sister-in-law, Steve and Kay Woods; mother-in-law, Bernette Gill; and siblings, Peg (Chuck) Hanna, Pat Van Sickle, Bill Tracy, Larry (Lynn) Tracy, Marilyn (Rick) Peree, and Gary (Diane) Tracy. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carolyn Andrix.

Bob was a master carpenter, small business owner, construction superintendent, and skilled tradesman. Whether on the job or at home, his passion for quality craftsmanship was always present. He built a beautiful home in which he raised his family, tirelessly completed wood-working projects for friends and family, and was always up for teaching his craft to others.

As a devoted husband and father, Bob was the heart of the family. He had a love for life that was always on display and an infectious personality. He loved spending time with his family boating, fishing, taking weekend trips to Lake Erie and beach vacations in Florida. Bob was often the life of the party, rarely knew a stranger, and was always welcoming to others.

Bob's wicked sense of humor was everpresent, but so was his endless generosity. Bob spent his entire life helping his family and friends. His actions enriched their lives and his one-of-a-kind personality made every gathering brighter.

Family and friends may call on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 N. State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the funeral home, with visitation prior to service from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Cheshire Cemetery. Deacon Byron Phillips is officiating.
