Robert Turner Obituary
Mr. Robert Hudson Turner, 84, entered into rest on Monday November 13, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy Mathis Turner; parents, Hudson and Fannie Turner; son Hudson Turner; daughter, Elizabeth Turner; brother Troy Turner; and sister, Margie Grice.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Angela) Turner, Johnny (April) Turner, Kenneth Turner; daughters, Wanda Turner (Marty), Angela (Michael) Lawrence; brother, Chester Turner; 21 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
Born in Vaucluse, S.C., Robert was a lifelong resident. He worked at the Graniteville Company for 52 years as a mechanic, and worked security for Allied Universal before his retirement. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and a dedicated member of University Parkway Church of God. Mr. Turner will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
A Funeral Service, celebrating his life, will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 2 P.M. on Thursday November 16, 2023 with Pastor Shaffer to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
