Bobby was my cousin! I loved him dearly.
He and his brother Billy were babysat by my Mom (Toot, aka Auntie) for several years. We were 4 young cousins living life to the fullest!
My sister Dawn and I were together with them every weekday. We even went on vacation with their Mom Aunt Helen and Uncle Bill. He will live forever in my heart.

Deborah, I just found Bob's obituary and I'm so saddened.
You and I talked a couple of years ago. I was Chief deputy in Surry County, Dobson/Mount Airy. NC in the 70's.Bob would come up from Charlotte to work cases in my County. We would search and find people he was needing to interview. In some of the backroads he thought he was going to need to get some of his brother ATF Federal agents as he thought we were going to run up on a liquor still at any time. Bob taught me so much in Federal law enforcement, but more than anything was his self assurance with knowledge and professionalism. It has been years since seeing Bob, but I'll remember the last time when he was transferring out of Charlotte and reassigned to Harlem. He hated to leave the beauty of North Carolina.
My wife and I send thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
