Robert Gerald Vaught

Mr. Robert Gerald Vaught, age 61, a resident of Winter Haven passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Mr. Vaught was born November 27, 1963, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to Robert Gerald and Virginia Darlene (Weir) Gunter. He was a Polk County resident since the 1970's, coming from Fort Walton Beach. He graduated from Haines City High School and was a Machine Mechanic for Pratt Industries in Dundee. Robert enjoyed woodworking, making widgets and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert is survived by his loving family, wife of 37 years – Kenna Vaught of Winter Haven; 4 daughters – Jennifer Marie Fortson of North Carolina, Ashley Marie (Anthony) Shouppe of Winter Haven, Kari Lee (Lawrence) Lewis of Winter Haven & Kaley Brooke (Victor) Calvillo of Winter Haven; brother – Michael Dean Gunter of Lake Wales; 8 grandchildren – Jake, Easton, Levi, Bobbi, Landon, Lincoln, Sophie & Victor. There are no services scheduled for Mr. Vaught at this time.
