Robert Verderame

Robert Verderame, 60, of Hampton Township, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2025.
Rob was born and raised in the Philadelphia area, and was the son of the late Genevieve and Frank Verderame. He was a proud graduate of Lower Moreland High School, where he excelled as an athlete, and of Penn State University, and was an avid supported of the Nittany Lions and of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh sports teams.
Rob overcame tremendous adversity after being critically injured in an auto accident in 1987, and fought his way back from a severe traumatic brain injury, never complaining, and never giving up trying to maintain his dignity and independence and live the best life he could. He blessed and inspired many people with his cheerful, optimistic attitude, and was always ready with a smile and a friendly greeting. Rob had a strong faith, and rested securely in Jesus as his Savior, and the hope of heaven.
Rob is survived by his sister, Mary (Ray) Pontzer, brothers John (Laura), Frank (Jeannie) and Michael, and his many nieces and nephews, who brought him so much joy. Thank you to everyone who was a part of Rob's life, who cared for him, and spent time with him. He loved and appreciated you all.
