Robert Glenn Walker Sr., 79, passed away on December 21, 2025 in Ocala, Florida. He was born November 7, 1946 to Evener Walker and Elizabeth Murhammer in Shelton, Connecticut. He worked as a Chef. He was the meat manager at Pantry Pride and held a variety of other jobs in the hospitality industry.
He is preceded by his parents and siblings; Evener Walker (Father), Elizabeth Murhammer (Mother), Larue LeBlanc (Sister), Jimmy Walker (Brother) and wife Linda, John Walker (Brother). Survived by Brother in law Paul LeBlanc and Sister in law Rita Walker.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Walker Jr.(Jennifer), William "Bill" Walker (Wendy) and Richard Walker (Kami); daughters, Yvette Hall (Jeff) and Angela Wells (Art); 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was loved by so many of our Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Friends, Neighbors and his Customers. In his own words when he wasn’t able to speak clearly he typed on the phone
“I am a Loved Man”. He definitely was and he will be missed by many.
A Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday December 27, 2025 at Countryside Funeral Home. Family Visitation will start at 1:00 and friends will be welcomed at 2:00 one hour prior to the service.
