Robert Ward Jr. Obituary
Robert Eugene Ward Jr, 91, of Rochester, passed away Tuesday March 18, 2025, in Aperion Care, Peru.
Born August 29, 1933, in Delphi, IN, he was the son to the late Robert Eugene Sr. and Louise (Klinkhamer) Ward.
Robert served in the National Guard and retired from being a carpenter. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Ward, Medaryville, IN; James Ward, Buffalo, IN; Kevin Ward, Monticello, IN; Kerry Ward, Monticello, IN; daughter, Lynn Ann Conley, Monticello, IN; Companion, Patty Shafer, Rochester, IN; three sisters, Ella (Dick) Bulington, Monticello, IN; Joan (Ed) Mitchell, Monticello, IN; Judy (Bob) Waymouth, New Palestine, IN; five brothers, Charles (Sarah) Ward, Monon, IN; Donald (Karen) Ward, Monticello, IN; Fred (Karen) Ward, Chalmers, IN; Rick Ward, Bristol, TN; Joe Ward, Monticello, IN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Joella Hughes and brother John Ward.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date in the Meadow Lake Cemetery in Wolcott, IN.
