Robert C. Warner, age 96 of Cambridge, Ohio died peacefully at his residence on December 23, 2025.

He was born on June 17, 1929, to Samuel Warner and Mary Catherine Lenhart Warner of Cambridge, Ohio. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Griffith Warner; parents; sister Ruth Warner Sherman of Cambridge, Ohio; and a son Mark R. Warner of Grove City, Ohio.

Robert is survived by a daughter, Cathy Warner Stein of Cambridge, Ohio and a son, Scott A. Warner (Rosemary) of Groveport, Ohio. Robert is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and his loving nephew and faithful helper Rick Sherman and his wife Jane.

Robert served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and also played for the US Air Force Basketball Team under Coach George Steinbrenner and attended The Ohio State University and played for The Ohio State University Men's Basketball Team. The Ohio State University was imbedded into his heart and he was an avid Ohio State Football fan.

He was employed in his earlier years with RCA and NCR in Cambridge. Robert served as a Councilman with the City of Cambridge for 12 years where he donated a majority of his income towards the renovation of the playground area. Robert was awarded the "Key to the City" of Cambridge, Ohio.

Robert was a member of the VFW and Elk's Lodge in Cambridge, Ohio.

Robert will be remembered as a" Social Soul" who loved conversation with many acquaintances and he donated his time to helping others. Robert was a man of exercise. Until later in 2023, you would catch him doing his track-rounds each day at the Northwoods Cemetery. He loved to garden around his house. He also received many Certificates of Merit as a caregiver while caring for his Wife Janice. Earlier in life, Robert enjoyed camping, boating and fishing with his family and friends.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, 3:00-7:00 PM and services to be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025, 1:00 PM at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, 120 N. 11th Street, Cambridge, Ohio. Interment will be at Northwood Cemetery after the services, with Military Honors performed by the Guernsey County Veterans Council. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Pollock of the Bloomfield United Presbyterian Church. Roberts Online Guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com.
