Robert "Bob" Washburn, age 94, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Church Hill Post Acute and Rehab after a period of declining health. Bob was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Charles Washburn, parents, Lawrence Edward and Flora Hacker Washburn, sisters, Rose Washburn Asher, Bernice Washburn Napier, Martha Washburn Napier and Lucy Washburn Young, brothers, John Henry Washburn, Charlie Washburn, Dan Washburn, Bernie Washburn and Melvin Washburn.

Survivors include his daughter Paula Washburn of Walton, Ky., sons, Robert Earl Washburn (Debra) of Cabot, Arkansas, Paul David Washburn of Walton, Ky., Robert Lawrence Oneil Washburn of Independence, Ky., grandchildren, Jeff Washburn, Deanna Washburn, Paul Washburn and Phillip Washburn, great grandson Tyler Washburn, sister Susie Stapleton (Billy Joe) of Rogersville, brother Paul Washburn of Hyden, Ky., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Mullins officiating.

Burial will follow in McKinney Cemetery.

Military Honors will be provided by Hawkins County Color Guard and Tennessee Army National Guard.
