Bob was born in Manhattan, New York to the late William Watson and Augustina (Wilk) Watson. He attended Manchester High School and the University of Conneticut. He was a longtime teacher in Bristol at Memorial Boulevard School and Chippens Hill Middle School.
He leaves a sister, Sherrill Ann Safin of Vermont.
