Published by The Healy Chapel Funeral & Cremation Services - Aurora Facility on Jul. 27, 2019.
Robert Frederick Weiffenbach, age 90, died peacefully on July 27, 2019, with his beloved wife by his side. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Faith Weiffenbach; daughters, Christine (Travis) Kinley, Jeannie, Karen, Deanna and Patricia, and at least ten grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert "Bob/Wiff" served in the United States Army Air Force from 1946-1949. He was also a faithful employee at ComEd for over 30 years. He was a serious baseball player in his youth, a talented guitar player and bass singer in the church choir, lover of golf and mowing the lawn and woodworker. He was known for his corny jokes and ability to make people laugh, and he was always willing to help his friends, neighbors and family. He spent many hours volunteering at his church, taking care of the grounds and doing various odd jobs. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be at on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL in Aurora at 11 A.M. followed by a service of remembrance at 12 P.M. If so inclined, donations may be made to Joyce Meyer Hand of Hope Ministries. Special thanks to Dr. Karesh, the staff at Symphony at the Tillers in Oswego and Divine Hospice Care for their loving care and kindness to Robert and family.

Dear Faith and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob made a wonderful wooden Santa and Rudolph that I still use at Christmas. My grandsons love them.
With sympathy,
