Robert Jerry Welch, 60, of Decatur, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Bob was born on August 18, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Robert Welch and Lucille Smith. He loved hunting, wheeling, and dealing, and always lent a helping hand to those in need. He was a very special soul.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gary Smith; and his sisters, Debra Johnson, and Justine Couch.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Bonnie Couey; son, Robby Crisp; his grandchildren, Bentley Couey, Vanessa Crisp, and Zack Crisp; brother, Martin Welch; and his sister, Ramona Gravitt; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Reverend Guinn Green officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Lee Cemetery.
