Preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy (nee Lester), and his late wife Hildy
(nee Lewandowski). Loving father of Deborah (Curtis) Gorrell, Dianne (David)
Bokan, Denise (the late Ken) Brzenk, Rob (Kathie) Wenzel, Gay (David) Flumer and
Gary (Julie) Wenzel. Loving grandfather of Megan (David), Matthew (Katie), Adria
(Dan), Joel, Mandy (Adisak), Cole (Morgan), Taylor, Paul, Ryan, Carly, Sara, Emma,
Austin, Kailey (JJ), Emma, Faith, Ethan and Sophia. Great grandfather of Laura,
Audrey, Mila, Vani, Rylan, Emmett and Carson. Dear brother of Dorothy (the late
Raymond) Koepsel. Further Survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
Robert was a proud WWII veteran. He applied military precision to all things So
don't be late! He approached every day with a smile, always willing to help
others. An avid golfer, he was the Men's League Champion at Whitnall Park Golf
Course, and continued playing into his 90's. He enjoyed long car rides, always
ending with the simple pleasure of dining out, as long as it was a shrimp dinner.
He moved to Florida, traveling extensively during retirement, returning to
Wisconsin to spend his final years with family. He was a treasure to all who knew
him.
Memorial Gathering Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the funeral home from 10 to
11am with a Memorial Service at 11am. Interment private.

I always felt welcomed in his home. He would smile and shake his head, like he knew we would be hanging out listening to music. It was endearing. Bob, a good man! I am glad he had such great children especially my good friend Deb
