Robert Edward White Jr. answered to many names - "Bobby" to his family, "Bob" to his friends, and "Uncle B" to the nieces and nephew who thought he hung the moon. He was the kind of uncle every kid hopes for: funny, a little mischievous, always ready with a quick joke, and never missing a chance to make someone smile. His nieces proudly called him their "cool uncle" and loved bragging about his accomplishments, how much he cared for them, and how smart he was.
Bobby passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2025, at the age of 51, from a massive heart attack, leaving behind many people with great stories and even better memories. Born June 3, 1974, to Robert and Janettie Reynolds White, he filled his life with laughter, sports, Smokey (his dog), and the people he loved most. He loved to cheer for the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds and could talk horse racing - or pretty much any sport - for hours. If sports weren't on, you could bet he was watching one of his favorite shows/movies with a TV remote in hand.
Bobby is survived by his mom, Janettie; his sisters, Christy (Billy) Wise and Angela (Tony) Schmidt; his beloved nieces, Ashton Schmidt, Camryn Schmidt, Kaylie Wise, Emree Schmidt; his nephew Caden Wise; and countless friends. He is reunited in Heaven with his dad, Robert White.
We'll celebrate Bobby's life the way he would have wanted - with stories, laughter, good food, and maybe even a little TV in the background on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Friends and family are encouraged to share their condolences and memories here on Bobby's Tribute Wall.
