Robert Dale Williams

Robert Dale Williams, a beloved figure in his community and a man of many talents, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 21, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born on March 23, 1954, in McDowell County, North Carolina, to Robert Edgar Williams and Ruby Hollifield Williams, both of whom preceded him in death. His sister Donna William Stanton also preceded.

Robert was not only a very gifted musician but also a skilled mechanic and home builder, showcasing his remarkable abilities throughout his life. His passion extended beyond music and building; he spent many enjoyable hours engaged in his hobbies of arrowhead hunting, metal detecting, gemstone hunting, and restoring hotrods. These interests not only provided him with joy but also connected him with the earth and history in a way that few could understand.

He is survived by his beloved son, Jason Dale Williams, and his cherished grandson, Trevor Williams. Robert also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews; Wendy Bartlett, Chris Anglin, Tommy Caraway and Timmy Caraway, who will carry forward his memory and spirit in their hearts.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752.

Robert Dale Williams will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy as a loving father, grandfather, and talented individual will forever remain etched in the memories of those he touched.
