RJ attended Perry Meridian Middle School as an 8th grader. He previously attended Southport Middle School where he was an honor roll student. Who enjoyed playing video games with his favorite cousins Kamarah and Rajawn. RJ was the most kindhearted soul. He was always full of energy and made the best out of every situation. Always there to make you smile even when you didn't want to. RJ was very family oriented, always asking questions about his family tree. RJ was the light our family needed, he lived to make his mother & father proud, and he indeed did that. We love you RJ!!
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father Robert Windmon Sr; mother Debra Windmon (Lewis), maternal grandparents Cecilia Hill (Patton) Darrell Lewis; paternal grandmother Sandra Shaw; maternal great grandparents Debra (Elmore) Davis, Ruthie Harelson; paternal great grandmother Rosie Shaw, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Bobby Windmon; great grandmother Maude Windmon, great grandfather James Windmon; great aunts and uncle, his maternal great grandfather Alphonso Buford, great grandfather Leroy Lewis Sr., great uncle Leroy Lewis Jr, great aunts Tula Thompson, Theresa Jackson, and Cousin Kameron Lewis.
