Robert R. Wrycza (Bobby), age 61, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Bobby was born in Milwaukee on May 4, 1963, to Robert and Delphine (Hintz) Wrycza. Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his mother, sisters Sandra (Robert) Rose, Wanda (Bill) Emery, and brother Rick (Kim), and his very dear friend, brother-by-another-mother, Romey. He is further survived by his three daughters, Tracie, Nicole and Crystal, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Bobby went to school in New Berlin, where he met his bestest buddy Kim at Calhoun Elementary. They went on to graduate together in 1981 from New Berlin West High School, and eventually she became his sister-in-law. After graduating in 1981, Bobby joined the Army and the National Guard and served his country faithfully. After the Army, Bobby became a mechanic and loved his work fixing forklifts, retiring from Badger Toyotalift.
In his younger days, Bobby loved riding his Harley with Wanda and Bill. In his healthier days, he enjoyed fishing, especially the fishing trips with his special, generous Brother Rick, uncles and cousins. Rick and Bobby shared a love of the rock band KISS, and they loved attending concerts together. After Mom & Dad's 50th anniversary cruise, Bobby fell in love with cruising the Caribbean with the family, where he and Sandy would try to "solve the world's problems" before bed. He also loved taking family bus trips to the casino. He so enjoyed the talks he had with his Mom and Auntie Petie. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends. Bobby relied on his brother-in-law Bob for all his computer and technical needs. For those who knew Bobby best, his favorite sayings were, "it is what it is," and "we do the best we can with what we've got."
Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, S89 W22650 Milwaukee Avenue, Big Bend, Wisconsin, on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, followed by mass at 11:00 AM and a luncheon.

I met Bob when we were in our 20's when he started at Badger. Never met someone that could make us laugh more. Bob will be missed. Condolences to the family.
