RICHMOND, INDIANA — Robert Lee Yeazel, 90, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025.
He was born Oct. 17, 1934, in Montgomery County to the late Thomas and Esther (Kennel) Yeazel.
He is survived by his wonderful wife of 69 years, Jane (Buriff) Yeazel; sons Jim and Mark (Joy) Yeazel; daughters Marcia (Marc) Olivarez and Nancy Johnson. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Bob was a true family farmer and invested countless hours as a founding advisor for the Jackson Young Farmers 4-H club. He and Jane were integral members of the Preble County Pork Festival committee for 47 years. He held various leadership positions with the Ohio Holstein Association for over 20 years. Bob was a faithful member of Campbellstown UCC and volunteered several years with the local clothing ministry. His most treasured time was traveling with Jane to watch numerous sporting and music events to support his grandchildren. Spending time playing cards with family and friends was always a favorite activity when he wasn't busy tinkering and repairing things in his garage.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, at Campbellstown United Church of Christ, 2890 W. Florence Campbellstown Rd, Eaton, with the time to be announced at a later date.
