Robert Fulton Yeazel Jr.

ROBERT FULTON "BOB" YEAZEL, JR., age 76, of Xenia, formerly of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the Dayton VA Medical Center.

He was born on May 24, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Robert Fulton, Sr. and Hilda Mae (Glackin) Yeazel. He was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Bob retired after twenty-five years of service with the State of Ohio Liquor Control. He was also involved in the VFW Post 3762 in Washington CH and the American Legion Post 25. He coached little league baseball and girls' softball for many years.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his previous wife, Carol A. (Yahn) Yeazel.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl (Haines) Yeazel; stepsons, Brett, Seth (Carrie), Chad (Jenn), Grant, and Neil (Jess) (Shelby); grandchildren, Brittney, Ian, Chloe, Sophie, William, Olivia, Liam, Connor, Emma, and Elliott; and siblings, Tom (Rhonda) Yeazel, Bill (Phyllis) Yeazel, Richard (Marian) Haines, Ron (Colleen) Haines, Judy Smith, Donna (Mark) Lucas, and Marilyn Zabinski. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be held at the Washington Cemetery at a later date.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Burlington Community Church, 2938 Cemetery Rd., Xenia, OH 45385.
