Robert P. Yurko, of West Homestead, formerly of West Mifflin and Duquesne, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 85.

He was the beloved husband of 58 years fo Sandra (Barna) Yurko; loving father of Sean (Wendy) and Wade (Brandi Hoag) Yurko; adoring Pap of Austin, Jenna, Reanna, and Wade "Poppy," Jr.; treasured great-grandfather of Armani Robert; son of the late John and Julia (Getsy) Yurko; brother of the late Rev. Paul E. Yurko, John Yurko, Julia Mayor, and Bernard Yurko; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Bob proudly served in the US Army, and was a member of the White Oak American Legion and SOAR of US Steel. He enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing. Prior to his retirement, he spent his career working as an electronic systems repair man for 34 years with the US Steel Mon Valley Works - Irvin Plant.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 30, 2-6 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 1, 11 AM, at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Homestead. Interment will follow at St. John's Cathedral Cemetery, Munhall.
