Roberta Drinnon, 77, of Piqua, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 13th, 2026, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was born on January 31, 1949, in Dewitt, Kentucky to the late Delmer Gambrel and Mary (Epperson) Gambrel, of Piqua, OH.

Roberta was known for her sweet, loving, and selfless spirit, and she brought warmth and joy to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her loving husband, John Drinnon, whom she married November 23,1991 in Wooster, Ohio and shared many years of life and love with.

Roberta was a proud and devoted mother to her four children: Tammy Boldman, Sidney, OH; Walter Messer, Englewood, OH; Mary (Gregg) Street, Piqua, OH; David (Ashley) Messer, Sarasota, FL; one stepson: John D. Drinnon, Philadelphia, TN; five sisters: Kathy Gonzalez, Springfield, OH; Doris (Jerry) Griffith, Covington, OH; Wilma Hall, Thomasville, GA; Barbara (Brent) Pohlschneider, Piqua, OH; Elizabeth Basil, Piqua, OH; one brother: Del (Debbie) Gambrel, Brookville, OH; eight grandchildren: Jessica, Dustin, Noah, Aiden, Adam, Megan, Andrea, Landon, two step grandchildren: Kaleb, Latasha; ten great grandchildren: Colton, Hallie, Addison, Liam, Lance, Sariyah, Garrett, Haiden, Karson, Edward, and one step great grandchild: Ravy. Roberta was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Roberta graduated with the class of 1967 from Houston High School and was a member of Redemption Christian Tabernacle in Tipp City, OH. She spent her years enjoying the little moments and making memories with her family. She found happiness in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved tending to her garden and flowers, spending time at church, and most of all being surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. She had fun finding new recipes in one of her many recipe books and cooking up a good meal to share with her family and loved ones. She loved spending time with her family, and her grandchildren were one of the greatest joys of her life, she treasured every moment spent with them. Her gentle heart, joyful personality, and caring nature made her a source of comfort and light to those around her. Roberta will be remembered for the love she gave, the kindness she showed, and the many lives she touched throughout her life. Her family finds peace knowing she is now resting in the arms of the Lord she loved so dearly.
