Roberta Smyre Obituary
Roberta Faye Smyre – age 83, of Knoxville, TN passed away on December 30, 2025. Roberta was a dedicated member of Richland Baptist Church for many years. She loved playing her mandolin and listening to music with her friends at the Corryton and Carter Senior Centers. She also enjoyed riding Gold Wing motorcycles.
Roberta was a loving wife to Bob Smyre for 61 years. They shared a life full of companionship and adventure camping with their friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Dixie McClure.
Roberta is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Smyre.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM, with Rev. Brad Bales and Rev. Nick Wright officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Faye's honor to Richland Baptist Church, P.O. Box 380, Blaine, TN 37709.
