Roberta J. "Bobbie" Thomas of Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away on Saturday evening, August 16, 2025 following a very courageous battle with declining health. She was born in Cleveland on June 6, 1937 to the late Theodore R. and Olga (Petlowany) Damm. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas.

Bobbie was a member of the Saint John the Baptist Parish attending both Saint Luke Catholic Church and Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was also active with the Bible Study Group. She volunteered with the Knights of Columbus, My Brother's Keeper and various other events. Bobbie coordinated The Walk For Life in Washington, DC for 7 years.

Bobbie is survived by her brother, Richard Damm (Nancy deceased); her sister, Cynthia (Kim) Little; stepchildren, Pamela Thomas, Steven Thomas, Matthew Thomas, and Douglas (Monika) Thomas; 6 step grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon.

A Mass for Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Father Daniel Olvera as the Celebrant. A brief graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Saint Luke Cemetery.
