Roberta Intihar Zipfel, 80, passed away January 29, 2025. Beloved wife of 31 years to Carl J. Zipfel and 22 years to the late Allen Intihar. Loving mother of Chris Intihar (Sandy), the late David Intihar, Carl Zipfel Jr. and Curt Zipfel (Jackie). Daughter of the late Ira and Alice Duncan. Sister of 4. Dear grandmother of Wil, Alie, Nikki, Kayli, Christopher, Hannah and Hailey. Roberta was a great grandmother, aunt and friend to many.
Roberta's life was defined by love and service. Her family was her heart's center. She was a devoted wife to Allen, and after his passing, a loving wife to Carl. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was a friend to many.
A natural caregiver, Roberta served as a nurse in diverse roles, from intensive care to school nursing, eventually transitioning to leadership in home health care. Following her passion for learning, she earned her MBA and became a successful home builder, earning recognition from Governor Voinovich for her commitment to energy efficiency.
Roberta embraced life with enthusiasm. She contributed to her community by serving on charity boards and civic committees, found joy in cooking, created her book club, loved a good political debate, treasured her travels with Carl, and enjoyed leisure time with Jack Daniel's.
