Roberto Arroyo, 73, a resident of Round Lake, IL, passed away April 11, 2024 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL.He was born June 7,1950 in Xochitepec Mexico to Pardo and Enemesia Arroyo.
After Roberto's long battle with kidney disease now able to join his two infant children and his beloved mother-In-law Eufemia in heaven.
Roberto loved sitting on his deck enjoying his music especially Creedence Clearwater Revival. He was an avid soccer fan and he would religiously watch his favorite soccer club Cruz Arul. Even as it appeared that he was napping he would still be "watching" his favorite team on the field. He will always be remembered as the comedian and jokester of the family and always kept his family laughing even during the hard times. His sense of humor and hard work etic is the greatest gift he bestowed to his three sons and his grandchildren.
Roberto is survived by his wife of 54 years Julia Arroyo, his children Roberto (Kari) Arroyo Jr., Sergio (Karla} Arroyo, Lali also known as Dario Arroyo, his grandchildren Camryn Arroyo, Carisa Arroyo, Aaron Arroyo, and Adam Arroyo.
A visitation and service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with a service commencing at 7:00 pm. For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org.
