Robin M. Cole, age 59, of Warsaw, passed away surrounded by her family on October 30, 2024. She was born on January 18, 1965 to Robert D. Cole and Patricia (Bodkin) Thomas in Columbia City, IN. Robin was a vibrant and outgoing individual who brought joy to the lives of those around her. Known for her warmth, she loved people and her family dearly.
Robin graduated from Whitko High School in 1983, after she enlisted in the Army and later was honorably discharged in 1989. This experience helped shape her strong sense of duty and community engagement, which she exhibited throughout her life.
A proud patriot, Robin was deeply involved in the American Legion in Pierceton and North Webster Posts. Her dedication to veterans was evident throughout her life; she served as a past commander and district president of the auxiliary, a position that allowed her to extend her support for those who have served our country.
In her free time, Robin found joy in gardening and cherished her family. She also enjoyed reality television shows like Survivor and Big Brother.
Robin is survived by her children, Jerry (Christie) Burnett of California, Ashley (Christian) Johnson and Amanda Elliott, both of Warsaw. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Braxton, Noah, Kyler, Mariah, and Balian. Also leaving behind her siblings, Robert A. Cole of North Manchester and Steven (Heather) Caudill of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert D. Cole and Patricia Thomas, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.
A Life Celebration visitation for Robin will be held at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana, on November 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a burial and military honors with the Warsaw American Legion Post 49 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services to help assist the family with funeral expenses.
