Robin Kay Inagaki was born December 12, 1969. Her mother, Carolyn Inagaki, thought she looked like an angel with her curly blond hair and beautiful brown eyes. At two years old, without doubt or question, Karl Inagaki, became her devoted Dad. She became a proud big sister to Jill, when she was five.
Robin attended school in Littleton, graduating from Chatfield Senior High School in 1988. She graduated from Metropolitan State College in 1994 with a BA in Communication and Minor in Marketing.
Robin began her professional career at MIX100 radio where her big hair and love for flare fit right in. In 1996, she changed course and proudly became a police officer for the city of Brighton. It was little surprise to her family that Robin became a Police Officer as she was often called "Sarge" as a child. She worked various assignments including patrol, Metro Drug Task Force and as a Sergeant for Brighton Police Department.
Robin married Scott Wilson in 2000. In 2002, she gave birth to the love of her life, Cassidy Wilson. Cassidy, who Robin affectionately referred to as her "bug,"was her greatest accomplishment and with that she had her "mini-me", a playful companion and an ever-devoted daughter.
She lived in and around Brighton, CO for most of her adult life. She loved the small-town feel, because of her mother's country roots. She thought it was an ideal place to build a loving home for her daughter and all of their many pets. She took pride in decorating her home, and creating a serene garden.
She loved to get dressed up with her cowboy boots and hat, and take Cassidy on adventures to the Stock Show or a Broncos game. These were perfect locations for a new pair of sunglasses and her iconic selfies.
Robin lived life by always asserting her independence and forging her own path. And though she has left us way too soon, you may feel her presence on the wind especially if you are on the back of a motorcycle. Or you might catch a glimpse of her smile and hear her laughter, when you are walking along a beach or playing in the ocean. And most definitely, you will find her in her "happy place" riding the rides at Disney for eternity.
