Robin Denise Coffman King

Robin Denise Coffman King, 51, passed away on February 2, 2026, in Danville, KY, surrounded by her family. Robin was born on February 5, 1974, to the late Harold Jay and Artie Godbey. Robin is survived by her loving husband, Brian.

Robin worked at The Trading Post and the Angel House of Galilean Home Ministries for over 20 years. Robin loved making people laugh (and scaring them), singing karaoke, playing cornhole, Halloween, and swimming in a pool. Robin especially loved spending time with her best friend, Brian, her precious granddaughter, Marley, to whom she endearingly referred to as "Sweetsie," and her children Sami & Beau.

Robin trusted Jesus as her Savior on January 9, 1999, and spent the rest of her life raising her children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Robin loved to sing gospel songs and frequently taught them to her children.

She is survived by her husband, Brian King of Junction City, her children Sami (Colten) Taylor of Liberty and Beau (Sidney) Coffman of New Orleans, LA; her granddaughter, Marley Taylor of Liberty; three sisters, Carla (Jasper) Rodgers of Liberty, Melissa (Brad) Hoover of Waynesburg, and Becki Galloway of Crab Orchard; a brother, Jay Godbey of Lexington; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, who knew her as Sissy Robin.

Robin is preceded in death by her father and mother, Harold and Artie Godbey, and her first husband, Archie Coffman.

Visitation is 5:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11:00am with Beau Coffman officiating. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny King, Troy King, Jasper Rodgers, Brad Hoover, BJ Hoover, Brandon Godbey, Jay Godbey, Bradley Jones, and Matthew Mason.
