Robin Lynn Offutt Kron

Robin Lynn Offutt Kron, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Norton Clark Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 24, 1962, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to Charles Thomas Offutt and Evelyn Mae Richardson.
She was a free-spirited woman with an open heart. She was always willing to lend a hand to others, even if it meant sacrificing her own needs. She had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
She had a vibrant passion for life's simple pleasures: a good cup of coffee, the classic episodes of Hawaii Five-0, and old Western shows. A true animal lover, she cared for numerous pets-both cats and dogs-and was often seen feeding strays that wandered near her home. Her dedication to animals was profound, once even hand-raising two orphaned puppies. She was also known for her expressive nature, a love she often displayed through the art of tattoos, which was a favorite hobby.
She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Ronnie Samples of Jeffersonville, IN; her daughter, Tabitha Chevalier (Ryan) of Jeffersonville, IN; her son, Luke Kron (Tionna) of Jeffersonville, IN; her mother, Evelyn Mae Richardson (Don) of Clarksville, IN; and her sisters, Roxanne Ketchem (Kerry) of New Albany, IN, Janet Offutt of Sellersburg, IN and Candace Kaelin (Cameron) of Memphis, IN. She was the proud grandmother of Caleb, Jameson, Kayne, and Alexis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Offutt; her sister, Brenda Tankisley; and her best friend, Danny Kron.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
