Robin Leon Varnell, 63, of Kennett, MO passed away at St. Bernard’s Medical Center on December 24, 2025.
Born on April 28, 1962 in Des Arc, Arkansas, Robin was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Mary E. (Vaughn) Varnell. A former farmer, Robin spent many years dedicated to the land and hard work. More than anything, he loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his three daughters, Jessica Wilbourn (Shabazz) of Pocahontas, Trisha Varnell (Heath) of Pocahontas, and Jennifer Cost (Ian) of Pennsylvania.
He was a proud grandfather to Kirstin Pierce (Caleb), Ashlynn Pierce, Alyssa Pierce, Abriana Wilbourn, Aleece Wilbourn, Adonis Wilbourn, and Shabazz Barber, Jr. He also leaves behind one great grandchild, Jeffery Atchley.
Robin is also survived by his siblings, Bill Varnell, Betty Wilson, Kimmerlee Patton, Frank Varnell, Jr., and Eddie Varnell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Roger Varnell.
His daughter Jessica wishes to extend a special thank you to his care coordinator Valerie Smith. Valerie dedicated a great deal of time to Robin’s care, providing him with unwavering support and cherished friendship in his final months.
In keeping with Robin’s wishes, cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. No formal services will be held.
