Robin Lea Vaverek

VAVEREK, Robin Lea – of Birch Run, age 59, died Sunday, January 4, 2026 at her residence. Honoring Robin's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
Robin was born August 19, 1966 to Rodger and Margaret (Young) Southward. She grew up in Birch Run and graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1984. On June 20, 2007, she married Roger Vaverek in Saginaw, Michigan. Robin worked as a manager at Family Dollar in Clio and Flint for several years. She was a member of the DAV for several years. Robin enjoyed cooking and taking care of her husband. She was a very giving person and would help anyone in need. Robin loved her animals.
Surviving are: Husband, Roger Vaverek; Daughter, Brittany Gonyea; Father-in-law, Roger Vaverek; Sister in laws, Kimberly Stanich, Bridgette (Neal) Bosley; several nieces and nephews; her animals, Logan Lee, Lea, Dee-Dee and Marcus. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Mother-in-law, Diane Vaverek; Brother in laws, Glen Vaverek, James Stanich II.
