It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robin Wakefield, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother to her cherished fur babies, who departed this life on December 11, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on September 1, 1962, Robin was a bright spark in the lives of everyone she touched, known for her generous spirit and big heart.

A proud graduate of Harmony Grove High School, Robin dedicated many years of her professional life to clerical work, excelling in various administrative roles. Yet, it was not just her professional accomplishments that defined her; it was the warmth and kindness she extended to others that truly left a lasting impact. Robin was affectionately known as a "Frou-frou" girly girl, reveling in life and all of its offerings. Despite not having much, she was always ready to share what little she had to help those in need, exemplifying selflessness in every aspect of her life.

Robin's nurturing nature shone brightly in her role as a mother. She was Caitlin’s biggest cheerleader, traveling across the United States to support her at countless sporting events, delighting in every moment of her daughter’s triumphs. Her adventurous spirit was evident when she camped out overnight to secure tickets for Caitlin to see Taylor Swift, aiming to create memories that would last a lifetime.

As a grandmother to her beloved grand dogs, Luna, Zella, Loki, and Nova—Robin was simply amazing. The way she spoiled them led many to forget they were, in fact, four-legged companions rather than two. Her love for them was evident in every treat given and every playful moment shared.

An enthusiastic lover of music, Robin filled her home with the sounds of her favorite artists, often found cleaning or tending to her garden with the melodies of Stevie Nicks and The Eagles providing the perfect backdrop. Her passion for gardening was matched only by her enjoyment of the fruits of her labor, reveling in the tomatoes she tended to with such care.

During serene moments, Robin loved to watch reality television with Kyndal, her daughter-in-love, sharing laughter and enjoyment as they engaged in shared stories of life and dreams.

Robin leaves behind a loving family that includes her daughter, Caitlin (Kyndal) Wakefield; her sister, Pam (Steve) Sibert; her nephew, Mick Davenport, along with his two children; her beloved niece, Brandy Braden, and her three children; and countless close family and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

She joins in eternal rest her dear parents, Roy and Shirley (Griffis) Davenport, and her two brothers, Randy and Robert Davenport, who welcomed her with open arms.

To honor Robin’s memory, a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas—an occasion for friends and family to come together, cherishing the beautiful memories of a life well-lived and the profound love she shared with everyone around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any memorial donations made to help with the costs of services and can be made to Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR, 72015 (501) 778-7100.

Although Robin has left her earthly home behind, to join loved ones previously passed in eternity, her life will continue to leave a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to not only have known her, but to have been loved by her as well.
