Robin Louise Willis of Pacolet, SC passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 69. She was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 7, 1956 to the late Calvin and Helen Robinson Wilson.
Robin was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing, working outdoors, and camping, happiest when surrounded by fresh air and open skies. Whether tending to a project outside or enjoying a quiet moment by the water, she appreciated the beauty of nature. She also had a gift for sewing, creating thoughtful pieces that reflected both her creativity and her care for others.
Affectionately known as “Granny,” she treasured her grandchildren above all else. They were the light of her life, and she delighted in every moment spent with them. A little redhead with a fiery spirit, Robin was full of strength, warmth, and personality. Her love, laughter, and determined heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Robin is survived by her son, Steve D. Wilson and wife Heather; daughter, Kristy Willis-Crocker and husband George Hayes; grandchildren, Brea, Justin, J.D., Anna, Haylie (Yahir), Jacob, Mason, and Jesse; great-grandchildren, Jeddie, Jasper, Elias, and Jovie Louise; sister, Tonia McGugan; sister-in-law, Debbie Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Roy D. Willis, and brothers, Steve Wilson, Ricky Wilson, and Press Wilson.
Visitation will be 3:00-3:45 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Road, Roebuck, Sc 29376. Memorial services will follow in the chapel at 4:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Dennis Tessnear.
