Robyn Bushell

Robyn (Ellsworth) Bushell, age 78, a Retired Elementary School Teacher, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Robert T. Bushell, to whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was one of two daughters born to the late Robert G. and Betty (Fraser) Ellsworth.
The quintessential teacher, Robyn spent 33 years in the same 3rd grade classroom of the Gladstone Elementary School where hundreds of children were lucky to spend each day learning and being guided by her. At home, she loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never forgot a milestone, whether it be a birthday or anniversary and one could always expect to receive a card and a phone call from her. Her kind, gentle and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege to know and love her.
Robyn was the devoted mother of Suzanne Vieira, James Bushell and the late Thomas Bushell; cherished 'Grandma' of Nicholas, Victoria and Ava; sister -in-law of Donna DeBlasio (husband, Ralph) and Kathleen Conti (husband, Kenneth). She was the sister of the late Janet Ellsworth.
A Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 from 9-11am with a Funeral Ceremony at 11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. She will be laid to rest alongside her son in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Impossible Dream, 575 Centerville Rd. #4, Warwick, RI 02886 will be greatly appreciated.
