Rochell C. Langlois

Rochell C. Langlois (Shelly), a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital at 73 years old.
Born in Detroit to Gasper (deceased) and Eugenia Amato, Shelly lived a life rooted in faith, family, and selfless love. She was the beloved wife of Kim Langlois for 54 beautiful years, and together they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Shelly was the cherished mother of Shawn (Nicole) Langlois, Kyle (Kelly) Langlois, Shannon (Todd) Lambert, and Cristofer Clark. She was the very proud Grammy of Ella, Madison, Charley, and Harper, who brought her endless joy and pride. She is also survived by her dear brother, David (Lynn) Amato.
Shelly's life was a testament to the power of love and faith. She found joy in the simple things-spending time at the cottage, cheering on the Detroit Tigers, playing games with loved ones, and making sure everyone had their favorite birthday dinner. She never missed a moment to support her children and grandchildren, attending every event with pride and enthusiasm. Her generosity, warmth, and unwavering faith inspired all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (north of 22 Mile Rd.), Shelby Township.
Shelly will lie in state on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at Shepherd's Gate Lutheran Church, 12400 23 Mile Rd. (east of M-53), Shelby Township.
