It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Theodore Joseph Teed Sr., who left us on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 70. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. A resident of Macomb, Michigan, Theodore was born on April 4, 1955, in New Jersey.
Theodore, known affectionately as "Ted" to his family and friends, dedicated 25 years of his career as a diligent and skilled diesel mechanic at the Pepsi Corporation. His commitment to his work was matched by his dedication to his country, having served honorably in the U.S. Army.
Ted enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and held immense love and pride for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Susan Mary Teed, of Macomb, MI; their six children, Teddy Jr. (Amy) Teed, Tracy Teed, Donnie Teed, Brandon (Princess) Okuszka, Nick Brown, and Cortney Okuszka; and six cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Donna (Jerry) Wilkerson, and his brother, Steven Teed.
A visitation service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Wasik Funeral Home located in Shelby Township, MI, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will occur on the same day and location from 6:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wasik Funeral Home-Shelby Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans organization, supporting veterans in the community. Donations can be directed to their location at 47326 Dequindre Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48317, or by contacting them at +1 248-977-7893.
Ted's legacy of love, service, and commitment will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
