Rochelle Jones, 33, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. No services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
Rochelle was born June 14, 1992, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Cherresse Jones. She loved to fish and watch her favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Rochelle loved to laugh and spend time with her niece. She lived every day to the fullest, never complained, and was a very dedicated hard worker. Rochelle was everybody’s “Ro Ro”. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her parents, Cherresse Jones and Jeffery Walter; grandmother, Margaret Jones; siblings, Janae Walter, Ty (Karissa) Walter, and Lasandra Odean; niece, Miracle Walter; uncle, Quintin Jones; best friends, April Jackson and Johnie Jackson; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Johnnie Turner, who passed away later the same day.
