Rodae Evan Robinson

Beloved son, father, husband, brother, and friend
RoDae E'van Robinson was born on July 6, 1986, to the late Minister Roger Dale & Mrs. Eva Robinson Bendolph. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Mr. Rogis & Missionary Corine Bendolph, and his Godparents, the late Bishop James & Frances Baker. RoDae was the oldest son of three children and, as a young child, was the pride and joy of his family. Many would say that he looked like "Bud" from The Cosby Show. RoDae was gifted with many talents, such as humor, athleticism, musical ability, barbering, and artistic skills, to name a few.
RoDae was a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, a proud graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School Class of 2006, and attended Bishop State Community College. RoDae was blessed with wit, charm, and an infectious personality. He never met a stranger and had a unique ability to warmly connect with anyone he met. RoDae was a loyal and caring friend, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. He was a caregiver and a family man. He enjoyed working with his hands and often helped neighbors with lawn care needs. RoDae has been employed at the Mobile County Health Department since 2019.
RoDae was a lifelong member of Spiritual Power Church in Jesus Name, under the leadership of Bishop Sylvester Smith, where he worshiped and praised God through the ministry of guitar. RoDae was baptized as a child at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, where he confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In recent months, RoDae would share and testify to the goodness of God to all who would listen. He would share how God had delivered him, heard and answered his prayers, and how He had grown to trust in the Lord. RoDae's favorite scripture was Psalm 34:4, "I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all of my fears."RoDae's favorite song is "I Trust in God, My Savior, the One Who Will Never Fail."
He is survived by his wife, Alyssa Hightower Robinson, a daughter, Roniyah Robinson (Mother Felicia Williams), two stepdaughters, Assyria and Sanaa Hightower, a brother, Tyler Bendolph, a sister, Aria Robinson Easterling (Cory), nieces, Chloe & Camryn Easterling, a nephew, Cory "CJ" Easterling, Godsisters, Erica Baker and Eckaydra Baker Slay (Fred), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he loved and cherished dearly.
