Roderick C. Hill

Roderick C. Hill III, 63, fell asleep in the Lord on October 29, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Born in Amarillo, Texas, Rod spent most of his working life in Phoenix as a Master Mechanic in the commercial aviation industry. In later years, he settled in the mountains of eastern Washington enjoying a quiet life. He was a proud US Air Force veteran, having served his nation as an automatic tracking radar specialist in ground warfare operations. He was preceded in death by his parents Roderick C. Hill, Jr. and Myra Jean Mittelstaedt-Hill. He is survived by his sisters Patty and Martha (Jim Stevenson) and niece, Sarah. Services in Arizona will be private.
