Rodney Dean Abrams

Rodney Dean Abrams of Alexandria, Alabama (formerly of Notasulga, Alabama) passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Grace Abrams, his first wife Barbara Abrams, and his son Tracy. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Sheila Denise Abrams and son Chad Abrams (Jan). Rodney was a Godly man who lived solely by the scriptures. He loved yard sales, fishing, cop shows and Bible history but mostly spending time with "Denise". Rodney and Sheila met online in early 2011. They got to know one another through online messages and then long nightly phone conversations. On February 15, 2011, he drove 3 hours after work to "claim his woman" and they met face to face for the first time. They married in May 2011 and spent almost fifteen years together. There were so many God Winks in their relationship they knew they were God's gift to each other. Rodney was a true southern gentleman, a loving and giving man and will be missed by many. There will be no service at his request.
