With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Rhonda Karen Hulsey on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Rhonda passed peacefully at her home after a very tough fought battle with lung cancer. Rhonda loved with her whole heart and rarely met a stranger. If you ever met her, you'd never forget her, her upbeat spirit or go without some good laughs. She had a personality that was unforgettable, a laugh that was contagious and a smile that was infectious. She walked this world with purpose and to the beat of a different tune. Until her last breath, she impacted many lives. Rhonda was born June 25, 1963 to the late James & Doris Hulsey, and is proceeded in death by her sister Jamie Hulsey, Sherri Hulsey, Robin Castleberry and Patty Lutticken. She leaves behind her beloved fur baby, Levi, her sister Lorrie Brown and (honorary sister) Dale (Jeff) Westbrook, her niece (who was like a daughter) Tiffany (Chris) Poindexter and (honorary niece) Morgan Vickers and great niece and nephews whom were like grandchildren to her, Xander Morales, Tatyana Poindexter and Kharmoni Poindexter and many amazing friends who became like family to her. Though her time here with us was brief, the love, laughter, lessons and memories will live on with us forever. You got us this far, we will take it from here "Ethel". Memorial arraignments will be made at a later date. The family asks that instead of flowers, please donate to her cremation expenses at Cremation Services of East Alabama.
